Elaine Ilvess received an award for Special Achievement but was not able to be present for acceptance.  Her dedicated leadership helped to revitalize the Ag and Environment Annual Conference and merge it with the Annual Stormwater Conference. With Elaine's guidance, we are enjoying our second successful Iowa Water Conference. It is significant that urban and agricultural interests gather annually now to work toward protection and improvement of water quality in Iowa. Elaine's contribution to the Iowa Water Conference (along with her many other educational efforts) earns her this special achievement recognition.
