There are 12 states with phosphorus fertilizer laws in place: Florida, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

[Please note: the word “ban” is used here, it should really be “restriction” as the state laws do allow for certain uses of phosphorus fertilizers.] |
